I had the good fortune to escort seven Germantown Academy seniors to our first ever appearance in the county academic challenge. Despite being raw novices at this sort of thing, and given how well prepared some of the teams were (Upper Dublin, I salute you!), we did pretty well, ending up fifth out of a field of eighteen teams. So it looks as if I'm going to coach a legit team next year. At last, an extracurricular activity that plays to my strengths.
Except for the wargames club.
And the D+D club.
